TOKYO \u2013 March 7, 2023\u2013 Prime Strategy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, \u201cPrime Strategy\u201d) announced that risk analysis functionality has been incorporated into KUSANAGI and is now available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The risk analysis function “KUSANAGI Analyze” analyzes the KUSANAGI environment to detect low disk space, inadequate configuration files, and files that may be the target of attacks, and displays recommendations for improvement. KUSANAGI Analyze” is available with KUSANAGI Business\/Premium Edition, the paid version of KUSANAGI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background of Development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The environment surrounding CMS is becoming increasingly complex, with many companies running multiple CMSs in multiple versions and on different platforms (cloud, rental servers, etc.), and facing challenges in security and web governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to solve these issues, we have been working on KUSANAGI’s support for CMS other than WordPress, such as Movable Type and Drupal, and support for multiple operating systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KUSANAGI is also used as an operational platform for CMS and various services provided by vendors to their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe that KUSANAGI’s role as a CMS management platform needs to be strengthened.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

About KUSANAGI Analyze, an analysis function of KUSANAGI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Check for potential issues that could lead to failures or security risks in pre-release or in-service servers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In environments where sites have been in operation for a long time or where multiple sites are operated on a single server, the structure has become more complex, and files that could cause security risks or failures may be left unattended without being understood. Another risk that can lead to failures is low disk space due to old archives and large backups, as well as inadequate settings.
KUSANAGI’s analysis function “KUSANAGI Analyze” analyzes the KUSANAGI environment to detect such risks and suggest remedial measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to add value to KUSANAGI by resolving issues related to CMS operations, strive to make KUSANAGI available to as many people as possible, and work with our partners to expand our business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KUSANAGI is a fast and secure virtual machine image developed and provided by Prime Strategy. KUSANAGI is available in 251 regions in 34 countries around the world on 29 major domestic and international platforms (as of December 2022), with a cumulative total of over 80,000 units in operation (as of February 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KUSANAGI 9 can handle more than 25,000 concurrent requests per second (HTTP) in a typical cloud environment (*1) when using page caching, and more than 210 concurrent requests per second (both HTTP and HTTPS) when not using page caching. Compared to the standard LAMP environment (*2), the speedup is approximately 2,330 times faster when page cache is used, and approximately 20 times faster when page cache is not used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three editions are offered: the \u201cFree Edition\u201d for personal use, the paid \u201cBusiness Edition\u201d for business use, and the paid top-of-the-line \u201cPremium Edition\u201d for business use, which includes the WEXAL\u00ae Page Speed Technology\u00ae web acceleration engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
