TOKYO – October 30th, 2015 – Prime Strategy Co., Ltd. (hereby referred to as Prime Strategy) today announced the free version of KUSANAGI for ALTUS, the world’s fastest WordPress execution environment KUSANAGI, available for GMO Cloud ALTUS. It is capable of an execution time of 3 milliseconds and 1000 requests per second without page caching.

WooCommerce is used in 30% of e-commerce sites around the world (according to Builtwith), but the plugin community has only just begun activities to foster the spread of WooCommerce. Prime Strategy wanted to contribute to the cause, and with the help of GMO Cloud, we developed KUSANAGI for ALTUS with WooCommerce, and offer it on the ALTUS Isolate Series and ALTUS Basic Series.

KUSANAGI for ALTUS was developed with the cooperation of GMO Payment Gateway and WooExperts, Artisan Workshop Co. It is the first cloud service that offers KUSANAGI 7.8.2 right out of the box, with WooCommerce support.

From version 7.8, KUSANAGI also offers HTTP/2 support and Let’s Encrypt, which allows you to use SSL certification for free, and you can build an SSL-secured e-commerce site from the beginning. According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the B2B e-commerce market value is 280 trillion yen, and it is expected to only grow from there.
