International Christian University (ICU) was established as Japan’s first College of Liberal Arts, and it was the first Japanese university to be given the title “International.” With roots in the Christian philosophy, the university’s mission is to contribute to lasting world peace through the education of talented, internationally cultured individuals who serve God and mankind. It is known for its impressive student-teacher ratio, boasting 160 professors to its 3,000 students. To modernize its internal site, upgrade its content management system (CMS), eliminate file-sharing issues, boost security, and more, the IT Center at ICU deployed a solution that included Microsoft Azure, WordPress, KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365.
